What a week in my life.
Work has been amazing, Home life continues to get better by the day and I am training my socks off.
At this point I need to admit that I forgot to book on my spin class this week. I am going to have a little rant now (Which in not like me at all!)
I am a member at Bannatyne’s in Rotherham. For the last 5 weeks I have been to a spin class at 6.30am every Friday morning. We are able to book the classes via the online member portable and every Tuesday, without fail, when I get to work I book myself on. I can’t book it any earlier as they are not available to book until this time. This week was an exception.
Due to a small issue at work I forgot to book myself on. By the time I remembered, the class was full. I was gutted. I registered in the waiting list and waited.
When someone cancels, the Bannatyne system sends an email to me to say someone has cancelled and I could register for the space. This is on a first come first served basis. 3 times I missed out on a space as someone got there before me. That’s life and I accept that. I was on my phone on Thursday night and an email pinged up saying a space was free. I immediately registered and got a spot! Happy Days!
Now the rant.
Before I start I would like to say that Bannatynes in Rotherham is awesome! I love it there. The facilities are amazing and always clean. The staff are superb, friend and very plesant. They are always very helpful.
It really annoys me when people don’t cancel their place, they simply do not turn up! At the class on Friday morning there were at least 3 empty bikes that I could see. This is not the first time this has happened. In fact it happens weekly. One week I know the class was full online, but on the day at least half the bikes were empty. It is so annoying as people who want to train in that class are missing out. It is not hard to cancel your place so someone else can take it. Just not to turn up (unless it is a dire emergency) is unacceptable. You can cancel right up to the class starting! Had I not got a place I would have been very annoyed. Is there anything you can do to sort this Bannatyne? 3 strikes your out maybe….
I got to spin on Friday Morning and loved it again. I can really feel myself getting addicted (is that the right word?) to the gym and this healthy lifestyle.
When I got back from Spinning on Friday Morning, Sam showed me a picture on here phone she took early in January. Her is the picture with one taken on Friday morning! If I am being honest, and some may not agree, I am so chuffed with the change. I think it is really noticeable and I hope you can see it as well.
At one point seeing a picture like this would have made me complacent. Now I just want to do more, train harder and lose more weight. This is exactly what I am going to do. I honestly think that if I didn’t have to go to work I would live in the gym.
Later this week I am going to outline my goals, tell you where I want to get to and why I want to get there!
