Its Monday evening and I have just got back from work, before going for another PT Session!
It was my XXth birthday on Friday. I don’t normally look forward to my birthday for obviously reasons and if I am being honest, this year was no different. I booked the day off work purely because it was a Friday and Sam doesn’t work Friday’s at the moment so I knew she would be around. It turned out to be one of the best birthdays I have ever had.
I booked myself a PT session for lunchtime on the Friday, so after a lazy morning I trundled off to the gym where I got my first present which was a big weight loss. To find out how much, Read this blog.
After Phil ( My trainer) had pushed me for 30 minutes of boxing I got home showered and Sam took me out for the afternoon. She had a little surprise in store and wanted to buy me a camcorder for my birthday. Off to Meadowhall we went and I got an awesome little camcorder.
We then went for a lovely afternoon drink in The Golden Ball in Whiston before getting Lucy from school. A couple of hours later we went for a lovely meal with Amy and Gill at a local restaurant. It actually turned into a double celebration as Amy pass the first of her CIMA exams that morning. I don’t know much about CIMA but Sam tells me this was a huge achievement made even more satisfying that Amy self-studied for this exam. Really proud of her!
On Saturday we went to visit some friends of ours near Derby. You will hear me talking about our Caravan a lot and he things we get up to. One of the things Far Grange has given us is a great set of friends. For various reasons we don’t have many true friends at home, but we are fortunate to have some great friends at Far Grange.
We had a great evening with The Swifts and another lovely meal. I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.
We got home early Sunday Afternoon which meant doing a load of jobs ready for the week ahead. I finished the day with a quick 50 lengths in the pool at the gym followed by some time in the steam room and spa which helps me release the aches and pains from the previous weeks training and sets me up for the week ahead.
Thank you as always to my amazing wife, Sam for a great birthday! Look out for a load more videos coming soon on You Tube with my new camera!
Until Next Time…
