So I am now well into week 2 of changing my life so I thought I would give you a quick update on how things are going.
At this point I have to say that unfortunately I don’t have any figures as to how much weight I have lost. What I can say is that after I first posted my starting weight I went back for an assessment 3 day later and I had lost just under half a kilo! Not a lot but for me I was so proud of achieving this!
I can also say at this point that I have honestly tried my hardest. I have not “cheated” on anything. We even went out for Sam’s Mum’s 70th birthday last night and I didn’t drink alcohol or eat badly!
So other than not eating badly, no alcohol and eating the right food, What else have I been doing?
Well that’s Easy. Gym! Lots of Gym!
Cycling, running and weights mostly. I try to go at least 5 times a week to include a swim and sauna session. I am also going to be signing up for PT sessions and classes at the gym. I’ll explain about this in a minute but 1st, a question.
I have been told that I should be eating around 2800 calories per day, but this seems a lot to me? Can anyone explain this to me?
Anyway….
I think I mentioned in a previous post that I really feel I need someone to guide me and advise me on how to stay on track. I now have someone. As you read this I am at the Gym (if my timings are right) signing up with Phil to do some PT sessions. I have has a couple of meetings with Phil, and he thinks my target is achievable!
I am going to finish this blog with this. I am not sure if I have done the right thing but on Friday morning I will be done my first ever spin class. I have spoken to a number of people about this and whilst I know it is the right thing to do, I have to say I am proper nervous. One person I spoke to said he couldn’t finish his first (or second) class and another was physically sick! Hopefully ill survive it to tell the story!
Until Next Time…
