So Sam Lucy and I have come to Caravan for New year so we can see 2017 in with our friends. Yesterday I was out and about either Walking or playing golf and took some pictures which show just how cold it is!
So let’s do this in chronological order…
The day started with a dog walk over to the lakes to fetch Sam’s car as we left it there after having a few drinks the night before. This was my car and the view of the street on site!
And this was the duck pond frozen over!
When I got in the car it said -2 on the temperature gauge so we quickly got back to the caravan and thawed out (and read the paper).
The afternoon brought about a spot of golf with Chris Webb.
It was really cold……
We teed off and got the 3rd/12th tee. This is the view over the 12th and the North Sea
And this is down the 3rd
You might just be able to make out the lake in the distance. After a couple of cracking drives we wandered down the hill toward the lake. When we got there it had frozen over and some people had not played 2nd shots as good as us!
Yes, these are golf balls sitting on the frozen lake!
the sun then started to set a bit quickly as the afternoon got on, and I was able to get some more great pictures!
And this one I particularly like
A great afternoon.
My final image comes from the evening when I took Bella for a walk
I cannot tell you how cold it was! it felt like my lungs were freezing as I breathed in!
Anyway, thought I would share this with you as I am starting to get into photography a bit!
Until Next Time…
