It seems ages since I last wrote a post and when I reflect on why, it has been both a turbulent and busy few weeks.
Following the Graduation Party and saying goodbye to Family and Friends we settled down to another full week of work. It has been an up and down time for both of use at work and at times difficult to comprehend. I know Sam has struggled with various issues but she continues to be amazing and plough on. More on me in the future.
The following weekend brought another trip to London for Sam and a Friends Birthday Party! Before this and as Sam was in London I thought Lucy and I needed a much-needed Daddy Lucy weekend and it was brilliant!
Sam left early doors on Saturday to catch a 7.30 (ish) Train. It always scares me when Sam goes to London. Over and above the issues I am never convinced she is on the right train. She has past when it comes to getting on the wrong train, but that’s another story.
So Sam set off and it was just me a Lucy. What do I do with a 11-year-old on a Saturday in Rotherham?
Easy….
We went to Rotherham United vs Newcastle.
It was a great game and Lucy loved it. To be fair, Rotherham probably should have won!
Lucy got her picture with her favourite player, Danny Ward, and a home shirt which she never took off for 2 days!
Saturday Night both a friends 40th Birthday party. It was brilliant, Drank too much but a great night with some great friends.
Sunday brought a pilgrimage to the Sheffield Sharks. unfortunately they lost. I am not a great aficionado on Basketball but I understand the ref was poor! Anyway, Lucy loved it and we had some great family time. Its a long season and I know The Sharks will improved. Huge Thank You to Wosskow Brown for the tickets!
And so concluded another great weekend with the Family.
One things I have learned is that there are very few people in the world I trust 100%. Be careful who you say what to and what people will say about you.
Again I am sorry for the lack of blogs but there are reasons and I look forward to updating you all soon with kloads more content!
Until Next Time…
