This weekend has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! Yeah we drank too much and spent a bit more than we normally would but it’s up there with the best we have had at the caravan and, as we are probably not coming back till October, a great way to finish the summer season.
Now on to the Highlight. It’s a Knockout! Oh, yeah…..
WE WON!!!! GO TEAM TETLEY!
You can see from the pictures below what It’s a knockout is. Fun games over inflatable’s with loads of water and washing up liquid.
The morning started with the kids turn and in the afternoon it was the adults.
The 10 of us in our team triumphed in all the games we played. The mix of youth and experience paid dividends and lead us to win every game and even the one we played our joker in for extra points. Never had so much fun but I woke up aching on Sunday morning.
So thanks to all the guys from Graham Fishers International It’s a Knockout and well done Far Grange for doing this. Most importantly well done to our team:
Sam, Mick, Craig, Alison Lisa, Erica, Martin, Matthew, Ronan & Amy.
The weekend started a little earlier than normal with a BBQ at the Swifts for Ben’s Birthday. What a great afternoon and a please to meet new people and hopefully make some new friends. Hats off to the most relaxed Chef in the world for the great food!
And this theme of friends old and new runs through this weekend.
It is great that we can come here, have fun with the gang, see friends we have not seen for a while and make new friends.
After the main event on Saturday it would have been rude not to celebrate! A great night in the Eastend with fantastic entertainment and well run evening from the Far Grange entertainment team.
People who know me will testify to the fact that if I am not happy with something I am the first to moan. Likewise I always give credit where credit is due. This season at Far Grange has been amazing. The staff at the park have really stepped up their game and it certainly shows. The difference is unbelievable. Well done to the management and team at Far Grange for helping me personally to create some wonderful memories with my Family. This positivity is also rubbing off to everyone I think. I walked to the shop this morning, as I do every morning, to get my papers. Every single person without exception said good morning to me!
I have been writing and adding to this all day. It is now Sunday evening and I am at home getting to ready to publish this.
To sum it up, this was almost a perfect weekend. Just wish I had brought the correct van keys so I could have got my golf clubs out and I wish Chris & Justine had been here to share it with us.
Until Next Time…
