After a great weekend is there a better way to finish the weekend that sat on the deck at my caravan have a drink with my family and friends.
Here we are back at Far Grange for an extended break. The plan was to stay for a bit longer than I now have to but there is no way I am going to rely on help and the priority is getting the house finished.
Friday Night started with what planned to be a quiet one. Trip to the Chippy the we decided go nip in and do the quiz. Needless to say things went a little downhill from there. In all honest, bar a couple of notable exceptions, I could not have wished for it to go down hill with anyone else!!
Oh, for once we didn’t win the quiz……
Saturday heralded the annual Summer festival. Some great singers even with the dodgy sound, headlined by the lady who sang with Meatloaf on I would do anything for love.
More importantly it was an afternoon of fun with family and friends. I also got introduced to Shaun Goodwin. For those who don’t know, Shaun played for Rotherham in the 1996 Auto Windscreen final. Top man!
Sunday heralded a day of rest. A nice fry up at the Golf Club followed but watching the Hungarian GP at The Lakes and then 13 holes of golf.
To be honest I was a pleased with how I played. I have had a lesson with Liam here at Far Grange and he has change my stance. It feels weird but definitely a bit more consistent.
As the title suggests we ended the day, sat on the deck having a drink in the rain! Perfect!
A bit of a short one as James Bond is on tele…..
Until Next Time…
